    Before you order, check the size chart on the product page – every design has its own finished measurements. Linen and wool do not stretch: between two sizes, choose the larger one.

    How to measure

    Five measurements, one tape.

    How to measure bust, waist, hips, shoulders and inseam

    Bust

    Around the fullest part of your bust, at nipple height. Keep the tape level with the floor.

    Waist

    At the narrowest part of your waist, usually just above the belly button. Do not pull the tape tight.

    Hips

    Around the fullest part of your hips, below the waist. Snug, but comfortable.

    Shoulders

    Across your back, from the edge of one shoulder to the other – where a sleeve seam would sit. Important for coats and blouses.

    Inseam

    From the top of your inner thigh straight down to the ankle. Stand with your feet slightly apart. For trousers.

    Measure in light clothing or underwear
    Stand straight and relaxed
    The tape should feel natural – never tight
    Ask someone to help – it is more precise

    Body or garment?

    This chart shows your body. The chart on each product page shows the finished piece – for example, our linen midi dress in XS measures 88 cm at the bust, made for a bust of 82–86 cm. That extra room is the fit we designed.

    How our pieces fit

    Most of our designs have a close fit, and natural fabrics do not stretch. On our linen midi dresses, the model is 170 cm tall and wears XS.

    Made to measure

    Between sizes, very tall or petite? Many pieces can be sewn just for you.

    Pieces made to your measurements cannot be returned or exchanged – so we agree every detail with you first.

      On pieces with the custom-made option, choose it in the size list and add the piece to your bag.

      We e-mail you a short measuring guide and agree the details – fit, length – with you before we cut.

      Your piece is sewn for you in about 1.5–3 weeks.
